Yoga is a wonderful practice to gain flexibility, strength, and benefit your wellbeing. Ever thought about sharing your passion and do a yoga teacher training? This article is for you!
Yoga has been around for a very long time and is a wonderful practice to gain flexibility, build more strength, but also yoga will benefit your emotional wellbeing and spirituality. Many people who started with yoga got really passionate about it, and decided to share their passion with others... Does that sound familiar to you? Keep reading, this blog post is just written for you...
But what if you have never tried yoga? Wait, don't skip this blog post! Maybe you are a totally new to yoga, but you're kind of curious about it? Stay with me. If you're new to yoga, I recommend reading this blog post for beginners, that will help you on how to get started on the mat - it's the ultimate Yoga 101 for newbies!
So let's get started. Here are my three takes, why you should consider doing a yoga teacher training:
You can do a yoga teacher training anywhere, even at home.
Obviously completing a yoga teacher training should be the first step to start your career as a yoga instructor. Yoga Teacher trainings can be done anywhere in the world, you can even combine it with an exciting holiday and opt for a yoga teacher training in Bali, Thailand or India, however those yoga holidays can be quite pricey.
If you're looking for a more budget friendly option (or maybe you simply don't have the time for a yoga holiday), you should look into yoga schools online. If you decide to do your yoga instructor training online, make sure to do your research about the school you're going to sign up with, please read as many reviews as possible to learn more about what to expect. Last, but not least, and probably one of the most important thing is to make sure the yoga teacher training is recognized and accredited by Yoga Alliance.
You will gain a deeper knowledge about anatomy, physiology and mindfulness
Once you completed your yoga teacher training with a Yoga Alliance accredited certification program you will have new knowledge about yogic philosophy, physiology, anatomy, mindfulness, and even meditation techniques. You will learn how to create yoga sequences, new poses and how to correct the form.
The yoga teacher course will teach you about all the different types of yoga, such as Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Hatha, Kundalini, Restorative... and many more. It might seem overwhelming in the beginning and tiring, please don't get discouraged during your yoga teacher training! Yoga is hard, but it will get better and easier with regular practice. Trust me on this.
Benefits of becoming a yoga instructor
Becoming a yoga teacher and helping others to feel better about themselves can be such a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It's a beautiful feeling, knowing you have the power to lift peoples' moods and enhance their wellbeing.
But even if you decide to not teach after you've completed your training, taking part of a yoga teacher course can help for your own personal development, physically, as well as mentally. And personally speaking, this is exactly what I did. I completed a yoga teacher training in 2019. I decided not to teach afterwards, but the knowledge and experience I gained from this was beyond measure.
I hope this article assured you a bit more on your yoga journey. If you want to know more, I have plenty other blogs post about yoga related things. Wishing you a great experience wherever this journey takes you. Namaste.
